Made for Epic MegaJam 2023 in one week with a team of 5. The prompt was 'antiquated future' so we decided to remake pinball in UE5- a game of the past in the engine of the far flung future of 2023.
I was responsible for the game's implementation- so I handled art & audio implementation, built the game from design ideas from the rest of the team, and delegated tasks to the other programmer on the team.
Ultimately, we as a team are happy with the finished product. We achieved everything we wanted to, except for a small amount of visual polish such as particle effects, hit-stop, and other forms of juice. If we were given more time to expand the game, we'd make the table larger and add more interactable doodads for the ball to collide with as well as further improve the quality of our assets.
