










Soar was initially inspired by Aer: Memories of Old, but really came into existence because of the spare time I accrued during the pandemic. It became an escape for me during a time where I truly felt the walls closing in, and I've done my best to honor that vision even long past the worst of the lockdown.
I started working on Soar in 2019, at first as a solo developer. As the project has expanded, I brought more people on board, and ultimately lead a team of 10 though I remained the only software developer and primary game designer.
Soar won Best in Play at GDC 2022, and was invited to the Indie Showcase at Devcom in 2023, and got featured by Fictional Frontiers at Comic Con 2025
